Nachos Bake

Ingredients

  • 500gm minced beef
  • 1 Tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 Tablespoon curry powder
  • 1 small red diced capsicum
  • 1 medium chopped onion
  • ½  Pkt taco seasoning mix
  • 400gm tin baked beans
  • ½ cup frozen corn kernels
  • 2 cups cornflakes
  • 440 gm tin chunky crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Method

  1. Pre heat oven 230 degrees
  2. Fry onion and mince in oil
  3. Add taco seasoning, curry powder, capsicum and corn kernels
  4. Once capsicum is soft add baked beans, once beans are hot turn off
  5. Spray a large oven dish with cooking oil
  6. Place a layer of beef bean mix on bottom of dish
  7. Next put a layer of cornflakes, then spoon the tomatoes over the top and sprinkle the cheese over the top
  8. place dish into oven till cheese has melted and browned. Approx fifteen minutes
