Developing a meaningful programme involves a collaboration between children, families and educators.
The programme in the Toddler Room endeavours to not only focus on each individual child’s interests and strengths, but also the group as a whole.
The information we need to be able to do this is gathered and documented in a variety of ways. This is then used to plan and implement a play based programme using the Early Years Learning Framework.
This encompasses developmental areas such as communication, social and emotional, STEM, cognitive, health and physical.
Each child has their own portfolio which contain documentation of their ongoing learning and provides an insight into their days here at MCCC.
Throughout their folder, you will be able to see examples and evidence of their individual learning.
